Welcome to the Royal Farm, Bharatpur “The City of Birds”

The owner’s great grandfather was the chief of Bharatpur state army battalion. His name was Captain Ratan Singh and he served in the time of Maharaja Kishan Singh. He was a fine soldier with the reputation for great bravery in serving the Maharaja. When he killed a Man-eating tiger in Keoladeo National Park he was honored by Maharaja Kishan Singh with a village of 1000 acres named Kolipura village in Bharatpur state and a huge mansion in the heart of the town.
